Development of the gambling zone "Azov-City" is one of priorities of the administration of Krasnodar region in near-term outlook. In plans of the regional authorities is to construct not just a gambling zone, but a new resort city capable to compete to famous resorts. To create more attractive conditions for investors Krasnodar region - the first one of five Russian regions where gambling zones were created, -accept heightened obligations: at the expense of means of the regional budget to provide a platform of "Azov-City" with communications. The regional administration carried out its pledge and the most important restriction for investors for today - infrastructural one - was removed. On July 1, 2009 in Sherbinovsk rayon of the region presentation of the investment platform "Azov-City" took place and gathered more than 300 participants. Representatives of business could make sure that all necessary engineering and transport infrastructure was created in the gambling zone: - road entrance to the gambling zone
- water supply, water drain and treatment facilities;
- electrical supply;
- gas supply.
All casinos and hotels constructed in the gambling zone will be certainly connected to electric, gas and water supply systems. A number of representatives of business already voted for "Azov-City" by means of their participation in realization of this project. 15 investors on a competitive basis gain the right on rent of ground areas in the gambling zone. And according to the concluded contracts most of objects should be put in operation till July 1, 2011. Since January 30 in the gambling zone "Azov-City" on the territory of Krasnodar region the first in Russia legal casino "Oracle" has worked and it has already been visited by guests from 80 cities of Russia - from Vladivostok and Tyumen to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Besides, in the casino "Oracle" 117 additional workplaces for inhabitants of Krasnodar region were created. The regional authorities intend to realize the project of "Azov-City" in some stages. As a result on the bank of the Taganrog gulf there will be hotels and restaurants, game clubs and casino, sports and cultural centers, oceanariums, aquaparks and other objects of entertainments which will provide "Azov-City" a stable stream of tourists. Considering the developed transport infrastructure of Krasnodar region including 5 airports (2 of them are international), 8 seaports, developed system railways and highways - there will not be problems with moving of tourists and visitors to the gambling zone "Azov-City".
