On August 5, 2010 in a city of Sochi the Department of investments and project support of Krasnodar region will participate in federal interdepartmental meeting "The function of state-private partnership in complex development of regions" under under the leadership of the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Konstantin Shirshov.

Among the participants of the meeting are representatives of key committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the administration of Krasnodar region, the administration of Sochi, regional government bodies, scientific community and also experts in the sphere of building, power industry and housing and communal services.

The meeting purpose is creation of the first inter-regional platform on state-private partnership in the Russian Federation and development of expert opinion on necessity of urgent introduction of limpid mutual relations in various spheres with the aim of modernisation of the regions economy branches.

Within the limits of the meeting discussion of state-private partnership operating principles in building, in the general development of infrastructure of the region and in power is planned.

Meeting carrying out is actual and duly for the regional economy. Under the current conditions of the market new approaches for maintenance of the further growth of investment appeal of the region are required. And the operating principles of state-private partnership is one of modern approaches to realisation of large investment projects with due consideration of mutual interests of the state and private business.

Recently in the region the Law No 1989-KZ of June 9, 2010 on the State Policy of Krasnodar Region in the Sphere of State-Private Partnership was passed. Its purpose is unification of material, financial and organizational resources, attraction of budgetary and off-budget means for realisation of projects and programs in economic, social and innovative spheres.
