On July 23, 2010 representatives of the administration of Krasnodar region and the delegation of big business of Upper Austria visited construction sites on the mountain Sober-Bash and in the stanitsa of Starokorsunskaya.

The Department of investments and project support took part in the ceremony of laying of a capsule with the message to the subsequent generations in the foundation of the ski resort Sober-Bash in the stanitsa of Ubinskaya. The agreement on intentions in sphere of realization of this investment project was signed in September, 2009 within the limits of the VIII International Investment Forum in Sochi.

The project is of higher priority both for the regional economy and for increase of investment appeal of health resort branch of the region. In Krasnodar region not only the Black Sea coast but also many other areas has rich recreational potential: in total there are 18 large resort territories. Good advantage for people who are interested to invest into resorts of the region is a variety of potential projects: from coastal hotels, sanatoria and balnearies to ski resorts.

Mountain Sober-Bash is one of the most unique places in the region. In 2012 split-level snow skiing runs of various degree of complexity with lifts, children's rest zone, training base and hotel-entertainment complex will be constructed there. In total into the project it will be invested more than 1 billion rubles.

In the second half of day the delegation was acquainted with the civil-engineering project of cottage settlement "Green coast" where the solemn laying of stele symbolizing relations between Krasnodar region and Upper Austria has taken place. The "Green coast" is the organized cottage settlement, "the city in the city", designed according to the best European experts.

The agreement on intentions in sphere of realization of this project also was signed within the limits of the VIII International Investment Forum "Sochi - 2009". According to the investment contract till 2011 in the stanitsa of Starokorsunskaya 293 cottages and objects of social infrastructure will have been constructed. A total area of settlement is about 40,000 sq. meters, volume of investments is 900 million rubles.

Realization of such joint projects will positively affect the regional economy, quality of life of the population, increasing of investment appeal of the region.
